Google Photos Will Allow You to Zoom in on Your Videos

Google Photos will soon allow you to zoom within your videos, especially from the gallery. A new hidden option has indeed appeared in the last iteration of the application, reveal our colleagues from XDA Developpers. Google hasn’t activated this feature yet, but it won’t be long.

By delving into the APK of the latest version of Google Photos, Mishaal Rahman, the editor of XDA Developers, discovered a new option allowing users to zoom in on a video by bringing two fingers on the screen together . Unfortunately, he does not say how he managed to activate this hidden option.

To zoom into a video in Google Photos, you just have to carry out the famous pinch to zoom . You can thus choose with a certain precision on which part of the sequence you want to zoom. According to Mishaal Rahman’s findings, this option is accessible when the video is opened in full screen or directly from the application gallery.
